IP Security Forum lands in Puglia (Italy), a leading technological centre for ICT
14/07/2011
Following the great success of the edition held in Milan and in order to respond to the several requests by the important user area of Southern Italy that wanted to repeat the event, IP Security Forum lands in Puglia, a leading technological centre for ICT. It is going to be a "light" edition but the mission is the same: to take the security sector towards the opportunities offered by IP technology.

BARI – On October, 27, 2011, the city of Bari will host the autumn edition of IP Security Forum. That day will not only be devoted videosurveillance over IP, but also to access control, intruder detection, safe communication systems and building automation. These security sectors are really the ones that are already using or are migrating towards IP and cloud computing, privacy, data safety and the numerous issues regarding the use of IP networks.

The event, organized in a congress + expo formula, will take IP security professionals and users throughout every operative step: from strategic marketing to the choice of technology, from updating on regulation to potential conflicts arising with privacy. In addition to this, the expo area will give the opportunity to "experience first-hand" the potential, the added value and the great application opportunities of IP security.

From the very first moment, the whole geographical area showed enthusiasm, thus supporting the event with highly significant sponsorship. In fact, in addition to the support of associations that are traditionally close to the security sector (such as AIC - Associazione Installatori Casertani, Assosicurezza, Assotel, ASIS International, ItaSForum, Federsicurezza, SicurServizi), IP Security Forum Bari has enjoyed the patronage of many entities of the ITC sector (such as AIPSI, AreaNetworking, Distretto Produttivo dell'informatica, Ordine degli Ingegneri di Bari, Tecnopolis and UNI.VERSUS), to testify the interest of Puglia region and the local industry in initiatives that aim at providing highly professional training and promoting the fusion between traditional security operators and the IT/networking world
